Introduction
The agenda of this event will cover a wide range of topics that are pivatol for reusable medical devices. From the intricacies of product design and material selection to the complexities of regulatory approvals and hospital reprocessing challenges, each session is designed to provide you with the actionable takeaways. Topics that will be discussed are:
- Family grouping: How to perform a family grouping exercise, including a review of worst-case design features
- Considerations to take into account when selecting materials reusable device to ensure durability, safety and compliance
- How to design End of life (EOL) studies for reusable medical devices to include both biosafety as well as reprocessing concerns.
- UV disinfection: Evaluating the feasibility of UV disinfection for reusable medical devices
The workshop will be hosted by Nelson Labs.
Participation in the workshop is free for everyone, including drinks and bites. However, for noshow and cancellations within 24 hours prior to the event, we will charge a fee of 15 euros (excluding VAT) to cover incurred expenses.
