Clinical Project Manager
Our Qserve CRO team is happy to announce that Wouter Mattheussens has joined them with support as Clinical Project Manager.
As Clinical Project Manager, Wouter is responsible for the setup, execution, and management of multiple clinical studies. Furthermore, he will obtain approvals from regulatory authorities and will be the main contact for the sponsors of clinical studies. Wouter is based in the Netherlands.

Before working at Qserve, Wouter coordinated a clinical project for an academic hospital, during two large prospective, multicentered cohort studies on the immune response in kidney patients after vaccination against COVID-19. There, he gained experience and affinity with project management and ISO 14155/GCP-regulations. Prior to that, he was involved in fundamental research to uncover the mechanisms of the ocular and vestibular system in the brain, using eye- and head-trackers.
Wouter has studied Medical Biology with specialization Neuroscience in Nijmegen. His specialties are predominantly neurodegenerative diseases, ophthalmology, the vestibular and auditory system, eye- and head trackers, machine learning, stem cell research, and immunology.

- Able to maintain a helicopter view while keeping an out eye for nuance
- Strong communication skills on an individual level and with multiple parties
- Able to work under high pressure
- Knowledge of ISO14155/GCP-guidelines
- Execution of clinical studies
- Database management
- Development of study protocols
- Programming and data analysis
- Languages: Dutch (native) and English (near native)
