Esther about working at Qserve

I’m passionate about helping to improve people’s health, which is why I’m very interested in participating in the medical device regulations to contribute to having medical devices that are safe to use for patients. I have experience in working with mechanical testing and computer simulations for orthopedic devices. I look forward to expand my knowledge working with different types of medical devices.

Before Qserve

Esther is a biomedical engineer from Mexico. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree at Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education, she held several positions in the medical device industry and worked as a biomedical engineer in hospitals. She gained experience with a broad range of medical devices in cardiology, suture, and orthopedic implants until she decided to pursue her career abroad.

She did a master’s degree in biomedical engineer with specialization in orthopedic biomechanics at Eindhoven University of Technology. Then, she started working as a researcher in the orthopedic research laboratory at Radboud UMC in the Netherlands. Later, she began her PhD about the primary stability of cementless knee implants, where she designed and performed experimental tests and computer simulations on different types of knee implants. She is currently finishing her PhD.

Now, she joined Qserve as a consultant where she will be working as a medical writer. She is involved in planning and preparing Clinical Evaluations, varying from writing Clinical Evaluation plans and reports and performing Literature searches to preparing Post-Market Clinical Follow-up strategies and plans.
