Peter Oosterhoff, PhD.
Peter combines strong experience in clinical research on an operational level with a practical, results-driven approach. He acts as clinical expert for setting up studies, preparing clinical strategies, converting strategies to protocols and e-monitoring requirements, and analysis of the clinical study Data.
The medical device fields Peter is most experienced in are Cardiology, Physiology, and Radiology.
Prior to Qserve, Peter held research positions at Medtronic, Amsterdam Medical Center, and the Radboud University Medical Center (The Netherlands). Peter has 20 years of experience in clinical research and Medical Device industry, specifically in Cardiology (pacemaker) research. As an expert consultant, Peter has experience in clinical risk processes, and set up and coordination of clinical studies.
Peter performed clinical validations both in animal models and human subjects, focusing on imaging of cardiac activation. He spent most of his career developing clinical research and validation studies. In that perspective the following skills are considered critical: analytical thinking, problem-solving, and understanding customer requirements.
