Finance Assistant

Job Description and Responsibilities:

As a Finance Assistant, you will be part of a global finance team responsible for the various activities involved in the financial administration of the United States of America: 
Checking and monitoring the financial process
Performing and checking the cash and bank entries
Supporting and optimizing cash control 
Preparing financial documents such as invoices, bills, and account payable and receivables
Reporting on debtors and creditors
Intercompany transactions
Maintaining contact with the Finance Department in the European Headquarters
Sorting financial documents and posting them to the proper accounts
Analyzing the financial reports.
Processing of reports and overviews
Contribute to the development of the department and organization by means of executing projects for improvement
Maintaining quality of the financial administration
Assisting with budgets and forecasts
Perform budget control
Handling accruals and prepayments
Managing payroll bookings and expense claims
 

Requirements for Consideration:

Minimum Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting.
Minimum 3 years current working experience. 
Relevant working experience in a consultancy/projects organization is a plus. 
Strong bookkeeping skills.
Independent, self-motivated individual, orderly and precise, positive attitude, focus on quality and maintains confidential and sensitive client information. 
Excellent English communication skills.
Legal resident of the US with a current passport.
